Con el objetivo de atraer a m\u00e1s mujeres al sector, y enfocada en la creaci\u00f3n de una red global, WISTA ha desarrollado 56 Asociaciones Nacionales en diferentes partes del mundo.<\/p>\n<p>WISTA Spain se estableci\u00f3 en el a\u00f1o 2007 en nuestro pa\u00eds, gracias a la iniciativa de un grupo de mujeres pertenecientes al sector mar\u00edtimo que promovieron su creaci\u00f3n, entre ellas se encuentra Ana Mar\u00eda S\u00e1nchez-Horneros, colaboradora habitual de GNGH. A esta Asociaci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n pertenece nuestra compa\u00f1era Paula L\u00f3pez Noriega.<\/p>\n<p>A trav\u00e9s de reuniones y conferencias peri\u00f3dicas, WISTA quiere facilitar el intercambio de contactos e informaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como promover la educaci\u00f3n y mejora de las habilidades de sus miembros, sirviendo de enlace con otras instituciones y organizaciones.<\/p>\n<p>Anualmente se organiza una Asamblea General que este a\u00f1o tendr\u00e1 lugar en Algeciras el pr\u00f3ximo 12 y 13 de mayo.
